We've been keeping busy here in the studio! Can't believe how quickly time flies.

Last week we went to a seminar given by Clay Blackmore. It was quite inspirational and we couldn't wait to get back to the studio to snap some shots! Here's a little update...

We had a great time with this family shoot! These kids were a blast! They had a good time posing themselves and they did a great job! We ended up with too many photos to choose from. (A common trend we're seeing develop.) It's really nice when you can see the fun come through in the photos.

A Little Purple Fairy and Future Fashion Models!

Another week in the studio! A couple more shoots this week, but we've mostly been really busy getting photos edited and placing orders with all the shoots we've had in the last couple weeks! Things are moving right along here. We're getting settled and loving every minute!

(left) Another great shoot! This little one was such a sweetheart. She loved those wings the moment she set eyes on them and they really made for some precious photos! She was so cute. Very shy, but we're all pretty sure she's a little ham in reality. :) Hopefully we'll get the chance for another shoot with her sometime!

(right) We had a great time doing family shots for these girls! I think Mom and Dad were as entertaining to us as they were to the girls when they sang to them to get them laughing! We ended up with a lot of great shots, definitely a couple of future models!

Most days we leave wishing there were just a little more time in the day. Seems there's never time to get everything accomplished! Guess that means we're in the right profession, though... no one can freeze a moment like a photographer! We'll definitely be sharing many more moments soon!

This sweet little pup was so well behaved! She just let us pose her in whatever crazy ways we came up with and was the perfect client the entire time! We weren't sure what to expect, as this was our first official pet shoot, but we may just become a pet photography studio! Ok, probably not, but she was precious. Thanks for another great shoot!

In other news, we're working on getting the website completely up to date, adding a ton of new photos to Facebook and spicing up the blog a little, too! Keep checking back to find out what we're up to!

From the Amy Gentry Photography STUDIO!

We've been so busy opening the new studio (Whoohoo!!) that we haven't had much time for updates lately! We are now up and running and ready for business in the Putnam Commons building downtown!

Last week was busy. BUSY BUSY! We had almost 10 sessions. They were GREAT! We really enjoyed getting to know everyone in the building and we're really looking forward to more shoots!

(left) This little guy was too cute. Such a ball of energy! He was so excited about all the goodies here in the studio, which made for a really fun shoot! A great way to kick things off!

Studio in progress!

Worked in the studio all day today and will again tomorrow!  It's going to be soooo cool!  Awesome backgrounds and great on location photo opportunities within walking distance!!  

My new studio COMING SOON!!!!!!

I am so excited! I'm signing lease papers Friday on my "NEW STUDIO"! I have so many ideas and To-Do Lists! I can't sleep half the time because my brain is always on overdrive thinking of all the possibilities. I have my wonderful husband/best friend to thank for encouraging me and being supportive and just as, if not more excited, than I am. He says I need to "chase my dream", so I am and I am so blessed to be able to do so. I will update as the progress takes place!!
